In some cases, it is useful to prevent users from installing software in
Windows 10, for example when you are managing computers in a company.
Right click on the start menu, then Run
Type: gpedit.msc, and click on the OK button
Go to:
Local Computer Policy, Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components,
Click on Windows Installer
On the right double click on: Turn off Windows installer
By default it is not configured
Select On, and click Always
Click on the OK button
The option is enabled
A click on the file menu, then exit
Restart the computer
